Curtin Motorsport Team

Welcome to the 2024 Curtin Motorsport Team blog!

Following a successful 2023 campaign, where the team completed all dynamic and static events and passed scrutineering on the first attempt, the team finished 8th out of 22 competitors. We would like to thank all our sponsors and for their support and assistance in achieving this amazing result.

Additionally, we would also like to thank our outgoing management team, especially our upper management team, Daniel Ace-Heaton, Brendan Craig, and Jessica Hunt for their leadership and guidance in the past season.

As we head into the 2024 season, there are a few changes to the structure of the team to better develop our EV. Our Mechanical Systems and Electrical Systems technical areas have merged to form our new Tractive Systems technical area which will going forward oversee the development of our electric powertrain. We are also proud to announce our new Electronics technical area which will be developing the low voltage electronic systems on the 2024 car.

As we begin the development of our 2024 car, we are excited to tackle the challenges of creating a full monocoque chassis, creating a lightweight aerodynamics package, and packaging the powertrain in a full monocoque.

If you are interested in joining the team, please don’t hesitate to click the ‘Join Us’ tab.

We are excited to take you along the ride of our 2024 season, follow us on Facebook and Instagram for frequent updates. Visit our events page to catch up with us.
