Curtin Motorsport Team is always open to visitors, especially to inspire the next generation of engineers.

We are always happy to have schools come down for a tour alongside their day in Curtin University. 

​

This program is a 4 hour course designed to give students an insight into what we do as motorsport engineers and to teach some foundational modelling skills along the way.

​

Students will be given an introduction to the team, including an explanation of our team structure, how we approach difficult problems, and some anecdotes about our experience in the team. 

​

Students will have the opportunity to explore our workshop to discover some of our advanced manufacturing methods such as our 3D printing, welding, and carbon fibre technology.

​

This course also includes an introductory 3D modelling session, where students are challenged to build a simple car model using SolidWorks software. This session will teach students the basics of modelling; building sketches, base extrudes, and extruded cuts.
